WHEN it comes to interior design in your home, people’s taste is totally subjective.
While some prefer everything to be all neutral, others are far more eccentric and opt for bright colours and bold patterns.
But one woman named Gen, who is the proud owner of a grey home, has hit back at cruel trolls who have slammed her style choices.
In a clip posted to TikTok (@genparkinsonxx), she says: “People in the comments crying over my millennial grey house.”
She then unashamedly shows off her super stylish home, beginning with the living room which is complete with light grey walls, a crushed grey velvet sofa, and grey marble effect coffee table.
Next up is the kitchen, which continues the colour theme with grey gloss brick-style tiles and matching accessories – including bar stools and appliances.

Taking her social media followers up the grey stairs, which feature built-in LED lights, she then reveals her bedroom, which has a grey statement wall and coordinating side table.
And last but not least, Gen shows a sneak peak of her very modern bathroom, which is complete with dark grey tiles and a matching floor.
She captioned the post: “Whatever you do there will always be someone waiting to criticise you – do what you love and be grateful for what you have.”
The post has since gone viral, racking up thousands of views and several comments – with very mixed opinions.
“The stairs are a bit much ngl,” wrote one.

Hitting back in the best way possible, Gen joked: “Live laugh love.”
“Making me hate my grey house! I’ve already started re painting and never been happier to see natural tones again!” a third noted.
However, elsewhere, others told how they were a huge fan of Gen’s colour choice.
“Love your home. Love the continuity,” praised one.
“Grey is a classic colour and if styled properly it looks stunning,” another penned.
