I don’t need to get rid of my belly pooch or be afraid to show it off in dresses – it’s cute, bodies have lumps & bumps
ONE fashionista proved that confidence is the only accessory you need.
While some women spend their life trying to minimize their belly pooch and get rid of their rolls, she called them “beautiful.”
TikToker Madds (@madds.maxjesty) encourages her followers to “do something that makes [them] happy,” as she writes in her bio.
And for her, that means embracing her body as it is.
In one clip, she offered her words of wisdom while wearing a fitted dress that flaunted her curves and full belly.
“If you have stopped yourself from putting on a dress or putting on clothing because of your belly pooch,” this one is for you.
She admired the way she looked in the fit, giving a 360-degree view to really show it off.
“Do you see how cute this is? It’s okay,” she said, pointing out her stomach.
“Bodies have bumps and lumps and curves, and it’s ok to show them off, even if they’re the ones that society says are ‘unattractive.’”
She encouraged her followers to “wear the dress,” as she wrote in the caption, even if they’re unsure about their figures.
In another clip, she doubled down on her statement.
This time, she wore a two-piece set that hugged her curves and gave a peak at her belly.
“No, you don’t need to get rid of your belly pooch to be beautiful.”
She shared a side angle of her body to prove that she was comfortable with a little stomach pop.
“2024 is the year of loving EVERY part of yourself. It’s okay to have goals for your body, but either way you are beautiful.”
Viewers agreed with her take.
“We have hipdips, broad shoulders, a belly pooch, and yes, big arms. We exist and we are beautiful,” one wrote.
“Thank you sister, I needed this assurance,” added another.
