I made a cheese board for just $29.29 with Target buys – people say my arrangement looks so pretty and ‘slayed’
A CHARCUTERIE expert has shared how she built cheese boards on a budget with Target buys.
People said her latest food creation, which cost her under $30, looked amazing.
Lauren (@loverboards) shared the trick to saving money on cheese boards in a video with her TikTok followers.
“Cheese boards don’t have to be expensive and I’m going to show you how to make one for under $30 at Target,” she said.
At the store, she picked up Good and Gather’s Double Creme Brie, $4.79, some extra sharp cheddar cheese, Good and Gather’s Charcuterie Trio, $6.49, and some goat cheese.
For fruits and sides, she grabbed some grapes, crackers, and garlic-stuffed olives.
At checkout, the grand total for all her items was just $29.29.
Back at home, Lauren unpackaged her brie, slicing the round of cheese into triangle eighths.
With the cheddar, she broke them off into small pieces using her hands and laid the goat cheese down flat.
Next, she wrapped the charcuterie trio bits around the cheese in flower bunches.
After adding the crackers, grapes, and olives, her cheese board was complete.
People praised Lauren for her creative and budget-friendly boards.
“My fave series, this one SLAYED,” said one commenter.
“So pretty,” another fan said.
Many were shocked that she was able to create boards that would have otherwise been hundreds for the low.
“I’m seriously impressed by the price,” said one commenter.
“In Canada, we were at $30 with the two cheeses,” said another.
