In a Q&A video session, she answered viewers’ burning questions on her time on the series – including her teary breakdown.
Joanna started crying during a game where the islanders had to vote for the least compatible couple, becoming emotional when her and Chris Taylor’s names came up.
The 26 year old said: “The Chris situation was a difficult one because we were trying to figure things out whilst I was like, ‘I can’t ignore a connection there.
“It wasn’t even anyone mentioning us in the game that was bad, it was probably how I felt about the situation and it came out.
“Obviously like there are several people there who have had connections with different people, and I thought, ‘OK well it is OK that I am having connections with different people as everyone else has done that.’
“But because I felt like, ‘Oh my gosh I am getting named in every single one…’ It was so tense and I just cried. It just came out.
“I am not a crier either, it was just overwhelming and the emotions were high. I think it’s only normal. It was a lot.”
Joanna was also grilled on whether she thought her and Callum Jones would be a thing if she was still in the villa.
She explained: “I have zero idea. I think it was so early on getting to know Callum, I don’t know which way it would have turned. It was cut so short.
“I was in there for two weeks but me and Callum started getting to know each other for two or three days. I would love to give you guys the answer to this but I was out a bit too soon.”
She did say she was rooting for Callum and Jess Gale though.
Joanna added: “They are great together and may there journey continue.”
Love Island continues tonight at 9pm on ITV2 and ITVX
