EastEnders shock as one of The Six finally confess to Keanu Taylor’s murder in explosive scenes
LINDA Carter has finally broken and confessed to killing Keanu Taylor in an explosive EastEnders episode.
The Queen Vic landlady – who is played by actress Kellie Bright in the BBC soap – has been struggling since she killed Keanu in an effort to save the life of her best friend Sharon Watts.
Viewers know Linda, Sharon and the rest of The Six covered up Keanu’s death and hid his body under the floor in the cafe.
And now someone other than The Six knows what happened.
In tonight’s episode Johnny continued his efforts to save his mum by taking down her rapist Dean Wicks.
He hatched a plan to sue him into oblivion but discovered the tape Dean had made after he forced Linda to lie about him raping her.
Recruiting Gina, he gained access to Dean’s phone and erased it, removing the recording and taking away Dean’s leverage.
But as Linda spotted he was up to something and confronted him, Gina, Ben and Dean, she lost it.
Dean pushed Johnny and he knocked into Bernie, smashing the plates all over the floor where Keanu’s body is buried.
Linda stared in horror at the mess and tried to clean it up, cutting herself in the process on a broken glass.
But as the blood dripped onto the floor she became hysterical, desperately trying to clean the blood away with her hands.
Johnny took her home where he cleaned her wounds but when he tried to get her to open up, she lashed out, grabbing a bottle of wine to drink.
“Gina said it was Christmas when you started drinking again,” Johnny said as he tried again.
“This isn’t about Dean, is it? Mum, I know when you’re lying. When you’re keeping secrets.
“Something happened at Christmas. Look at you, you’re a mess. Is it dad? Is that it?”
“God I wish it was just about your dad,” Linda said as she took a huge gulp of wine.
And Johnny seized on her comment and kept pressing her until she cracked and made a shocking confession.
“I don’t want you to hate me for what I did to him,” she said.
“I just wanted to stop him. I never wanted him dead. Johnny please. He was strangling her, he had his hands round her neck. Keanu. And I killed him.”
With the truth now out, what will Johnny do?
