And now it seems like the viewers watching at home think the same.

They think it won’t work because he said he won’t be with a girl his mum doesn’t like – and she recently issues a stern warning to her son over Georgia.

One pointed out: “I don’t think they’re lasting further than after they land in the UK – Anton’s mum is NOT a fan and that’ll be it for him.”

Another wrote: “I get the impression she [Anton’s mum] does not like her [Georgia]…”

A third chimed in: “I got a funny feeling when Anton was making the comments about his mum’s approval, he was foreshadowing it… almost like he’d tell her once they are outside ‘oh sorry, my mum doesn’t approve it’.”

Earlier this month Anthon’s mum Sherie-Ann gave her opinion on their relationship.

Speaking to OK! Sherie-Ann had this advice for her son: “I’d probably say, ‘If you really like Georgia and are really serious, which you seem to be, just keep plugging away.

“But don’t plug for too long, son. If she’s not into you, then she’s not into you.

” You’ll feel it if she isn’t. If you think she’s worth it, then keep going. Just see how it goes.’

“I think that’s what I would say to him.”

The warning came after Sherie-Ann also admitted that she “isn’t yet sure of the romance”.

She added that she needs to meet Georgia in the flesh before making decisions on whether she is “The One” for Anton.

Anton showed an interest in Georgia from the very start… but she coupled up with a number of other guys.

The pair shared a kiss, but later decided to stay as pals.
