Casualty spoilers: Coronation Street star sends shockwaves with explosive debut as Stevie makes huge mistake
CASUALTY is set to be rocked by an explosive new arrival to the ED.
Former Coronation Street star Melanie Hall, famed for her role as Cathy Matthews, will be making her debut on the show as Siobhan in a fresh cast shake-up. With plenty of drama on the horizon, here is what is in store next week on Casualty.
Stevie’s Nightmare
Stevie has some terrifying flashbacks[/caption]A shocking nightmare sees Stevie reminiscing about darker times.
During the scary flashback, Stevie is transported back to Belfast in the 1990s where is alone watcher her helpless boyfriend be brutally attacked in a crowded bar.
It sends shivers down her spine and she eventually wakes in a state of panic.
With a long shift ahead of her, can she shake how she feels after the horrifying nightmare?
Siobhan makes her debut
Melanie Hill makes her show debut[/caption]Melanie Hill arrives at the hospital and quickly Siobhan is unimpressed by the state of the ED.
She quickly realises she is going to be facing more work than she had thought.
Shiv eventually manages to raise her spirits by banding together with her fellow nurses in order to help out a vulnerable patient.
It soon becomes clear that despite her initial reservations that she is proud of the team and sees a positive future to come.
Jodie and Paige in turmoil
Paige is set for a new role[/caption]With Paige soon to depart for her new role at Maxfax, Jodie feels forced to confront their issues and make amends.
Having slept with Teddy, Jodie has been left feeling tense around Paige.
Wanting to clear the air, Jodie forces herself to say sorry to Paige for sleeping with Teddy.
However, Paige is less forgiving and with her move and new job around the corner, she does not care to resolve things as she will soon be away from it all.
Paige’s plan goes awry
Things don’t go to plan for Paige[/caption]Having decided to stay stubborn and not resolve things, Paige is looking forward to her new role.
However, the job soon falls through and she is left flawed by the news.
In order to move past it, she throws herself into her current job in an effort to prove herself.
Despite her seemingly improved mood, she soon tells rival jodie that she is not staying.
She is determined to leave for good and will do all that it takes to secure a job at Maxfax.
Stevie rumbles a secret
Is there more to Harry than meets the eye?[/caption]Stevie appears to become wary of Harry after his wife mel is rushed into the A+E department.
Mel has fallen through an attic hatch, but Stevie thinks that there may be more to her incident than meets the eye.
She fears that Harry appears to be particularly controlling with Mel and when she later has a fit in the hospital, it is clear that her injury is particularly severe.
Stevie tells her that she has suffered a seizure and has a small bleed on the brain.
Whilst they discuss this, Stevie uses her opportunity to encourage a safe space to ask if all is okay.
With a cagey response from Mel, just as she appears to want to divulge more, Harry makes his presence known.
Arrest shame
Stevie is arrested[/caption]Amidst trying to persuade Shiv and Charlie that something is off with Harry, Stevie finds herself dealing with violent chaos in the ED.
With fears of her nightmare looming over her, she takes drastic action upon fearing that an altercation is around the corner.
Panicked and thinking that Scott is about to attack Cam, she sedates him.
Upon questioning, as Cam admits he did not feel threateend in any way, it is determined that Stevie acted improperly.
Soon, Harry arrests her for GBH.
