The cleaning pro explained that all you need to try out this hack is a lemon and some bicarbonate of soda.
Joanna sliced her lemon in half and then sprinkled some bicarbonate of soda over it.
She then proceeded to use the lemon to clean her sink, squeezing the juices out of the citrus fruit as she scrubbed.
“Did you know… Lemon juice is one of the most effective natural cleaners due to its antibacterial properties?” she said.
“Let’s not forget it smells amazing”.
Joanne said that the smell of the lemon will linger in your house for hours, making your house smell citrusy and clean.
Lemons are super cheap, and can be purchased from the supermarket for as little as 30p.

Bicarbonate of soda is also a very cheap cleaning product and can be purchased from the supermarket for around 65p.
It is often used to eliminate odours as it is an alkaline substance, so when it reacts to acidic smells, it neutralises them.
Joanne’s tip has clearly left many impressed, as it has racked up over 381,000 views on Instagram.
