A WOMAN has revealed that she is a stay-at-home mum and has made over £39,000 thanks to her side hustle.
So if you’re looking to earn some extra cash but aren’t sure where to start, you’ll need to listen up and take notes.
Mum-of-two Des explained that she sells digital products on Canva, which enables her to earn money passively.
A digital product is any product that is created, distributed, and consumed in an electronic format.
Etsy digital products refer to digital files that buyers can purchase and download instantly, such as printable art, digital planners, e-books, stock photos, and more.
Des explained that she went from making zero profit, to $50,000 [£39,435] from her side hustle – all whilst having no followers on social media.
The savvy mum explained that thanks to selling digital products on Etsy, she can spend time with her kids and work when they are asleep.
Posting on social media, Des opened up about her side hustle, as she explained: “It’s still crazy to me that I am able to make an income from something that I made one time but sell it over and over again (pretty passively).
“Canva templates were the gateway for me into selling digital products.
“There are so many different things you can create (spreadsheets, websites, eBooks). The list of options is truly endless.”
In one clip, Des shared how you can sell Canva templates on Etsy, as she claimed: “Selling Canva templates can be a great way to make extra income online!
“Here’s a tutorial on how you can sell a Canva template on Etsy for passive income.
“So once you’ve created your template in Canva, you’re gonna go to share and in here you can get a template link and you’re gonna copy that.”
Once you’ve made your template and copied the link, Des added: “Download it as a PDF and then in Etsy you’re gonna create a listing.
“It’s pretty simple and easy.”

In another video, Des opened up about how many hours she spends on her side hustle.
She shared: “Here’s how many hours I spend on my Etsy shops for digital products as a stay-at-home mum.
“It depends on what mode I’m in – there’s building mode and there’s maintenance mode.
“I’ve spent most of this year in maintenance mode – I set up sales, I answer DMs, but I haven’t really been actively making products.
I do things during nap time or after bedtime

“I probably spend an hour on my shop a week, to set up some sales and some DMs – that’s about it.
“When I’m in maintenance mode, it is very, very passive.
“When I’m in building mode, I can spend a few hours a day.

Choose products that can be bundled together so that you can make more money from each sale
