Meghan Markle ‘thinks she’s ABOVE Suits now despite hit Netflix revival & is too good for her old co-stars’, expert says

MEGHAN Markle “sees herself above” Suits and is “too good” to go back to the hit Netflix show, claims a expert.

Rumours have swirled the duchess, 42, could be offered a role revival in the famous legal drama – but is sure to turn her nose up at it, according to a royal biographer.

The former actress wouldn’t go back to the Netflix show because she feels ‘too good for it’, claimed Angela Levin[/caption]

It comes after reports suggested the mum-of-two could be in line to star in spin off series Suits: Los Angeles.

She could even land herself in the director’s seat on at least one episode, as reported by Daily Express.

But, royal expert Angela Levin told The Sun online she believed Meghan would reject the opportunity.

“Meghan has no sign of going back to Suits,” she said.

“She would have if they had let Archewell be involved in the production but that was turned down.

“She is thinking of herself as very grand at the moment – with her and Harry going back to their ‘royal roots’ with their new website.

“I should think she believes she is too good for the show now and for her former colleagues.”

It comes after Harry and Meghan’s new website, Sussex.com sparked outrage as the couple were accused of “cashing in” on royal titles.

‘Intimidated’ co-stars

It is understood Meghan’s co-stars “no longer” speak to her – with many offering the same reason.

Patrick’s J. Adams’ character Michael Ross was in an on-screen relationship with Meghan’s character Rachel Zane in the show.

But asked if he ever hears from the duchess, he told the Hollywood Reporter: “Zero. No, no communication.”

He previously confessed he was too “intimidated” to even reach out.

The Canadian, who acted alongside Meghan for seven years, also told Radio Times: “After our children were born, there were some texts sent and gifts sent, but I guess I’m a little scared. I think it’s pure fear.”

Meanwhile, Sarah Rafferty told Closer Weekly in 2019: “She’s really busy. She’s super busy.”

And, Gina Torres, who played lawyer Jessica Pearson, even admitted ex-co-stars “don’t have” Meghan’s number.

She told Glamour in 2019: “No, I’m not in touch with Meghan.”

Mrs Levin added: “She’s also renowned for using people when she needs and dropping them when she no longer needs them.

“That may have something to do with it.

“She no longer has much in common with the people she worked with.

“Their lives are very different now.”

Mrs Levin also added she believes the duchess will be more focused on her new podcast after the controversial revamp of their website.

“I think she’s done with suits,” she added

“To be fair I think she has grown out of Suits and the relationships she built from it.

“I think she sees herself above these things now.”

The expert added that Meg would need to be offered “big money” to be interested in anything now.

“It would have to have her as the main star or the main producer,” she continued.

‘Comical’

Fellow royal expert Richard Fitzwilliams also claimed a return to Suits would be unlikely.

He explained: “That’s going backwards, but we’ve had so many reports she could be doing something and nothing happens.

“It would fit perfectly because if you look at the three charities Harry is known for, he was attached to them before he was married.

“If Meghan went back to Suits it would be very ironic, it would be retrogressive, rather comical.”

It comes as NBCUniversal gave Suits: LA the green light and ,Megan’s pal, original creator of Suits, Aaron Korsch has already written new episodes.

Universal International Studios boss Beatrice Springborn publicly confirmed Suits: Los Angeles is being made.

“We are working on it right now,” she revealed late last year.

“It is amazing looking people in great clothes but at the core of it, you can’t have a show that’s successful with just that. It has to have great storytelling and great character work,” the boss added.

A senior production source claimed there had been contract talks between the duchess’ agent and the studio giant.

“This is shaping up to be one of the biggest TV deals of the year,” they added.

The insider also claimed execs are “prepared to pay what it takes” to secure the actress.

Production is set to kickoff by March, with confirmation of Meghan’s revival if she should come back, to be announced this month, according to the source.

Suits, which ran from 2012 to 2019 on NBCUniversal’s subsidiary USA Network, saw a massive boost in popularity in 2023.

Fans binged the show after it was added to streaming giant Netflix and placed number one on America’s TV download chart for over three months.

Meanwhile, Meghan and Harry fuelled speculation they could also be lining up a deal with Paramount Pictures.

They cozied up to the CEO Brian Robbins and his wife at the Bob Marley: One Love premier last month.
