‘Makes zero sense!’ rant Netflix fans as they sink claws into ‘one of the worst movies ever made’
NETFLIX users have branded the streamer’s latest movie release starring music icon Kelly Rowland ‘one of the worst movies ever made’ – even though it’s climbing up the charts.
Tyler Perry’s new legal thriller Mea Culpa has received plenty of criticism from viewers since it was released on February 23.

Also starring in Mea Culpa alongside Kelly and Trevante are Nick Sagar, Sean Sagar, RonReaco Lee, Shannon Thornton and Kerry O’Malley.
Since the film was released, it has received terrible reviews, with a low 17% rating on Rotten Tomatoes.
The films offical synposis reads: “A criminal defense attorney takes on the case of a seductive artist accused of murdering his girlfriend, but when burning desire takes hold, things get hot — and dangerous.”
Netflix subscribers have also taken to social media and expressed their disappointment at Mea Culpa, with many describing the film as the worst Tyler Perry movie they have seen.
On X(formerly Twitter), one user wrote: “Mea Culpa (2024)… from start to finish, this is quite simply the worst Tyler Perry film to date.
“I’d go as far to say it’s probably one of the worst films I’ve ever had the displeasure to sit through.
“Not one shred of emotion, not one tear or laugh. Nothing for 120 minutes.”
Another added: “Mea Culpa was one of the worst movies made this 21st century.”
A third stated that Mea Culpa was “maybe the worst movie I’ve ever seen in my entire life”.
