Love Island’s Mitch in bitter feud with show finalist after pair clashed in villa

LOVE Island’s Mitch Taylor is locked in a bitter feud with his villa cos-star Anton Danyluk.

The pair’s relationship deteriorated in South Africa after Anton took Mitch to task in the kitchen for making Liberty Poole cry twice in a week.

Despite Mitch insisting there were no hard feelings at the time and that the incident was water under the bridge, things have become increasingly tense since the show came to an end.

The former gas engineer from Sheffield tried to vote Anton and Georgia out of the villa ahead of the final and he joked shortly after the showpiece that the pair had probably already split up.

Mitch is now no longer following his fellow All Star on Instagram indicating that there really is no love lost between them.

But it should come as little surprise given Mitch claimed he was ‘lied to’ and admitted their kitchen confrontation was the source of a simmering rivalry.

Liberty went to Anton for advice about her relationship with Mitch, fearing that the lad’s heart was not 100 percent in it.

The Scot confirmed her worst fears, sharing his opinion that her parnter was only on the show for “clout”.

After Mitch heard what was said he had a big bust up with Anton, hitting out: “You are talking to Lib behind my back going against me and it’s not really bro code.”

Anton shut him down, saying there was only “right and wrong” and Mitch should “be a man, not a boy”.

Mitch shared his side of the story on social media after a follower asked him about the argument.

In a video posted to Instagram, Mitch said: “The reason why I have beef with Anton – I don’t even have beef with him anymore, I couldn’t care any less.

“It all stemmed back to the argument in the kitchen we had. It wasn’t the argument, it was the next day I brought him aside and I just said ‘Listen Anton, I’m sorry for going mad at you. I’ve heard that you didn’t say anything bad about me.’

“Anton didn’t say anything, at all. He literally said point blank to my face, ‘I didn’t say anything bad about you.’

“So I felt bad, I apologised. Even when I left the villa and did Aftersun with Maya I apologised to him then.

“It wasn’t til I got my phone back and saw the edit – he was talking crap on me and the fact is, he lied to me, talked nonsense, but I didn’t speak bad on him.”

Although Mitch claimed he took the high ground when it came to Anton, he has made it clear that he thinks his relationship with Georgia is fake.
