A FASHIONISTA in her 50s has stepped out to say that there’s no reason for a midlife glow-down.
She said she already knows her style is iconic and doesn’t need others to validate her.
Star Monroe (@starmonroe), a midlife psychotherapist, filmed herself dressed to the nines in a series of clips on TikTok.
In another style, she rocked a bright red dress with a faux fur coat and high heels.
A third clip showed her wearing an all white shirt and pant combo topped with a cream-colored coat.
She donned an all black shirt and skirt combo with long black leather gloves.
“Flaunt your 50s,” she said.
“Become an iconic older women who celebrates who she is, her talents and skills.
“Who recognizes her worth independently in a world that waits for external validation.”
In each clip she appeared to walk confidently while wearing her bold styles.
The video drew in many fans who shared their thoughts in the comment section.
“I turn 50 this year and this is definitely a goal for me,” one wrote.
