Bride asks for help deciding what to wear to her ‘small wedding’ but is trolled for the ‘figure skating’ dresses
A BRIDE-TO-BE found herself brutally mocked after sharing the two dress options for her nuptials.
Picking your wedding dress can be just as stressful as organising the ceremony itself – which is why one woman took to Reddit to seek help and opinions from others.
Stuck between the two options, the bride-to-be took to Reddit to see what others thought[/caption] The dresses left people totally divided, as some said they were more fit for ‘figure skating’[/caption]According to the stunning bride-to-be, who remained anonymous, the nuptials would be held at a ”courthouse” and it would be a relatively ”small” wedding.
With the big date now approaching, the fashionista had found herself stuck between two options – and decided to see which of the duo fellow Redditors preferred.
”Help me pick, my own small courthouse wedding,” the bride-to-be wrote in the recent post on the popular forum.
Both numbers were midi-length and featured a higher neckline, as well as a flowy and flattering bottom section.
The first show-stopper of a dress boasted a gorgeous and intricate lace detailing on the top half, whilst the second potential pick was of a similar design – but instead, the top bit was mesh with dozens of teeny white pearls.
Unlike with the option number one, there was also a large cutout on the back.
But whilst the style lover revealed she was rather fond of the second garment, the reaction online was totally divided – and not everyone was a fan of either of the dresses.
The post was soon inundated with responses, as people reckoned that neither of the potential items were fit for a wedding.
One, for instance, said: ”Number 2 reminds me of a figure skating dress.”
Another chimed in, writing that one of the dresses made them think of a school graduation party.
”Against the grain I’m going with #2. It looks more modern, less prom, and more fun. But that’s my personal style.”
A third reckoned: ”I know y’all like #2, but it’s too high-schooly, imo [in my opinion].
”Unless you’re 18…but #1 is sophisticated yet sexy, and super classy AND flatters you better.”
Someone else penned: ”#1 leans a little towards a figure skating outfit?”
”They both seem very young to me, more homecoming than wedding,” a fellow Redditor agreed.
”Perhaps you are also young, so it works, but I think there are more sophisticated choices out there.”
Luckily for the woman, there were also plenty of those who loved the options, as raced to congratulate her on the news.
After being bombarded by hundreds of comments, the bride-to-be, 32, also shared her thoughts on the dilemma, adding that the first pick was the most ”comfortable” of them all.
”I have my heart set on the second one but the sequins are so scratchy when they rub against my arms.”
Although the woman preferred this stunning number, she said the first pick was more ‘comfortable’[/caption] Many people insisted the dresses were giving ‘high school’ vibes[/caption]
