BRIT Awards viewers were left majorly disappointed as the show was hit by continuous sound blunders.

The awards ceremony fell victim to technical errors that resulted in some of the sound going missing from the live broadcast.

It suffered its most notable slip-up as actress Jamie Winstone arrived on stage to present the award for the biggest prize of the night.

As she introduced her speech for the Mastercard Album Of The Year, the sound appeared distorted as fans struggled to understand what she was saying.

Jamie said: “Hello London! How are we all doing tonight?”

However, echoing music could be heard booming over the top of the star.

The distortion lasted for just over ten seconds before it appeared to be corrected.

It left many fans insisting that someone was about to get fired for their mishaps.

One fan furiously ranted: “ITV fix the sound ffs.”

Another penned: “Whoever the sound technicians are they’re getting fired.”

Someone else then added: “Bad sound issues tonight.”

It wasn’t the only time that the Awards suffered an audio hitch.

Show bosses cut almost all of the audio from Bring Me The Horizon frontman Oli Sykes as he accepted the award for Best Rock/Alternative Act.

It was the first Brit for the band but those watching at home were left unable to hear exactly what was being said.

As Oli began to speak, the audio was cut before one of his band members could be heard saying: “I don’t think you can swear!”

Before admitting that he did not know what else to say, the sound was once again removed as it appeared that he continued to swear.

He also appeared to suggest that the band only won as the voting system was “too confusing” and only their fans had “been a**ed to vote”.

As the rockers left the stage, host Roman Kemp appeared to be shocked by the strong language.

As he sat next to Kylie Minogue, he made a remark about the use of the most “vulgar language” as he attempted to move on from the situation.

He said: “That bleep button, I hope it was at the ready.

“I’ve never seen such vulgar language there, Kylie!”
