Posing with blue heart cookies and a huge display of balloons in the same colour, she made clear to fans that she was due to have a baby boy.
Melissa donned a white t-shirt and jeans for the bash, which she partnered with a pastel pink cardigan.
The former Home and Away actress beamed as she enjoyed the day spent with family and friends.
She showed off her age-defying beauty in a series of snaps at the shower, as she posed with pals and danced to the musical entertainment.
A big blue cake was laid on for the star too, with baby written on top and sweet decorative icing figures.
Friends boogied to the music at the indoor baby bash, in a room decorated with flowers and balloons, with a huge table spread of food on display.
Melissa is already mum to sons Raphael and Solal, who she shares with ex-partner Jean-David Blanc, a French entrepreneur.
Now expecting a third baby, the notoriously private star hasn’t revealed who the father of her baby is.
Melissa rose to fame when she landed the role of Angel Parrish in Home and Away in 1993.
She arrived on the show as a teenage runaway and had an on-screen relationship with Shane Parrish.
They became one of the soap’s most-loved couples of all time, until Melissa left the role in 1996.
She then moved to America and landed some big TV and film roles.
The Australian-born star now resides in France and her accent is completely different.
Last year, This Morning fans were left baffled after her appearance on the show, as she sounded French.
Those watching at home were caught off guard by her new voice and took to X, formerly known as Twitter, to comment on it.
One person wrote: “Watching an interview with Melissa George, and it seems like she’s totally phased out her Australian accent. #ThisMorning.”
A second commented: “As soon as she said she lived in France she put on a French twang…”
While a third added: “Melissa’s accent has rather changed since her Home & Away days #ThisMorning.”
