Glastonbury talks with iconic headliner collapse throwing festival into chaos
GLASTONBURY bosses have been dealt another blow after talks collapsed with potential headliner Stevie Wonder.
Festival organiser Emily Eavis had spent weeks wooing the US megastar, 73, to play the Pyramid Stage this June.

However The Sun understands negotiations hit the rocks after Stevie’s team struggled to make his schedule work alongside a yet-to-be-announced string of summer shows.
It leaves a gaping hole in the line-up which has usually been announced by now, sparking concern from Glastonbury fans on Twitter.
Last October Madonna was close to signing but was said to have been heavy-handed with her demands, causing talks to collapse.
Bosses then made a beeline for Fleetwood Mac legend Stevie Nicks, only for her to be poached by the BST festival in London’s Hyde Park.
On Monday a post confirming the festival’s official cider was quickly met with a flurry of replies demanding news about who is actually playing the festival. One wrote: “We need a Glastonbury line-up right now.”
A source said: “The mood behind the scenes is fraught to say the least. Emily’s desperate to pull off another top line-up but right now everywhere she turns is hit with issues.
“She’s doing everything she can to deliver for music lovers and still hopes Stevie and his team can be won over but it’s not looking good.”
Emily had stated she wanted female headliners after criticism of last year’s male-dominated line-up.

Dua Lipa and Coldplay were understood to be locked in as the other headliners.
