A MAKEUP lover has shared her quick trick to make any lipstick transfer-proof in three simple steps.
She used a popular beauty buy from Sephora to get the job done and make them kissably soft without risks of smudging.
Self-described “cool big sister” Stephanie Valentine (@glamzilla) admitted that she has a shopping addiction, especially when it comes to high-quality makeup.
As a result, she’s accrued a lot of lip products that look good on her but some smudge and rub off too easily.
Stephanie showed viewers in an Instagram Reel how she can keep any lipstick locked in place with one product.
“Girlies you know how you have lipsticks that transfer, but they’re so amazing? I’m going to show you how to make them transfer-proof,” she said as the video began.
“I’m going to show you how to make them transferproof.”
She first gently pressed her pointer and middle fingers to her lips and showed the bright red smudges on them.
Stephanie then picked up a paper towel and put it between her lips to blot them.
“Blot a little bit off okay?” she said.
When she pulled away, there was a visible red kiss shape on the paper.
Next, she sprayed the One Size by Patrick Starr On Til Dawn Setting Spray, $32, and said to “let it dry” before moving on to the last step.
As part of the final step, she blotted one more time with a paper towel, and when she pulled away this time, it remained white without an ounce of transfer.
She added in the video caption that she first did the trick last week, and then again at a beauty event.
“IT WORKED!!!! 10/10 recommend trying this out!” she said.
Stephanie said that viewers are going to love using the setting spray like that and told them to “enjoy.”
