I found the best dupe ever for Sol de Janeiro at Target – it’s $15 & sold out everywhere but there’s still a $5 option
AN affordable style and beauty guru revealed the knock-off versions of Sol de Janeiro.
She loved the way it smelled, but it’s not the only perfume dupe at Target.
TikToker Cortney Dryden (@cortneydryden) posts her fragrance finds online.
“Let’s go get all of the Sol de Janeiro dupes at Target,” she said. “Got to start with the best dupe probably ever for Cheirosa 62.”
Cortney said a close imitation is Pistachio Please by Fine’ry, which costs $14.99.
The original sells for $62.
“There’s a reason it sold out almost everywhere,” she said.
Reviewers on Target’s page agreed that Pistachio Please smelled like a Sol de Janeiro dupe.
“Smells just like Sol de Janeiro mist so if you have that you’re set,” one person said.
“Everyone keeps saying it’s a dupe for Sol de Janeiro 62, maybe initially but after it sits on your skin for a while, it smells so much better,” a second wrote.
“This is such a close dupe for Sol de Janeiro Cherosa 62,” a third added
“It is ever so slightly less gourmand and the teeny tiniest bit more floral,”
A second knockoff of Sol de Janeiro’s Cheirosa 62 is Dream Moon by Pacifica, which cost $12.99.
“It smells nearly identical and I love there’s a smaller purse version that’s only $5,” Cortney said in her video.
The TikToker also likes’ Frenshe’s Cashmere Vanilla, which sells for $15.99 at Target.
Cortney said she likes to use the Frenshe scent as a base for her other Sol de Janeiro dupes.
The fragrance guru said the best imitation of all was Tropic Glow Shimmer by Tree Hut, which retails for $8.99.
“Obviously the OG Sol de Janeiro dupe is Tropic Glow. Personally, I think Cheirosa 62 is sweeter and like more gourmand,” she said.
“Whereas this is a bit more perfumey,” Cortney continued. ” But even so, these smell freaking amazing and it’s pretty close.”
