Love Island couple officially SPLIT five weeks after leaving the villa
ADAM Maxted and Arabella Chi have officially called off their romance – after failing to meet up outside of the villa.
Model Arabella, 32, and Irish hunk Adam narrowly missed out on a place in the Love Island All Stars final when their fellow co-stars voted them out.
The pair formed a strong connection in the villa[/caption]At the time they were both furious, insisting they had the most chemistry, but have struggled to make it work on the outside.
A source close to Adam said: “They genuinely tried to make it work but every time they arranged to meet up, work got in the way.
“They’re going to stay friends.”
Since the spin-off show ended, fans clocked that Arabella and Adam had’t managed to meet up with each other.
Arabella is based in London, while Adam is from Belfast – and both clearly have very busy schedules.
Last night she was spotted partying alongside another cast mate – Hannah Elizabeth while Adam was nowhere to be seen.
Arabella had a very rocky road on Love Island All Stars but finally found the one when Adam entered as a bombshell.
They were unhappy when they got the boot, with Adam saying: “I seems that we’ve been judged on the time we’ve had, rather than our connection,”
Speaking about her time on the show, she said: “At times I thought in the villa, how am I being as unlucky in love in here as outside?
“But when Adam walked through the door finally my luck changed. I am now lucky in love!”
She added: “Of course I am sad not to make the final.
“But I was instantly attracted to Adam, we couldn’t stop staring at each other.”
Adam was a little more cautious while talking about their budding romance and told Belfast live that despite having a ‘great week’ together they weren’t rushing into things.
He said: “We’re just going to take it slow and we’ve planned that I’m going to see her next week on Tuesday and I think that’s the best way is we take it slow and we just continue to get to know each other.
“We know there’s an attraction there and there’s a vibe there but it’s just about whether or not now we’re both in alignment with one, what it is that we want from a relationship and two, like in life, are we in the same place going forward.
“But we’ve had a lot of deep chats and it seems like we are but I’m just at a stage where I just don’t want to force anything – if it’s meant to be, it’ll happen and it’s definitely moving into the right in the right direction but we haven’t put a label on anything yet.”
Prior to her time on the show Arabella dated Manchester City footballer Rueben Dias.
