Raise your hand if you love affordable skincare dupes – my $14 find is great if Cosrx’s $25 snail mucin is too pricey
SPENDING more on skincare is silly when there are similar products for a fraction of the price, according to one bargain hunter.
Her picks laid out a full routine including a snail mucin for nearly half as much as Corsx’s fan-favorite version.

“Raise your hand if you love affordable skincare dupes,” she said.
While Paula’s Choice 2% BHA liquid was great for blackheads and exfoliation, it can also be a bit pricey at $34.
In its stead, she recommended the $11 Peach Slices Acne Exfoliating Toner.
For those who are unable to get a prescription or afford $35 tretinoin, an acne medication, she explained that there were alternatives.
For just a third of the price, she was able to grab a tube of $15 Differin gel.
COSRX’s Snail Mucin Essence, a cult-favorite product, can be purchased for $25.
A cheaper alternative, however, was Peach Slices’ $14 Snail Rescue toner.
La Roche Posay’s $18 Cicaplast Baume B5 moisturizer can also be substituted for Hero’s $13 Rescue Balm.
Beauty fans agreed that her picks were the cream of the crop.
“The Rescue balm is sooo good, I love it so much,” said one commenter.
“The Peach Slices toner saved my skin!” said another.
Others relied more heavily on her dupes since one of their products was more than five times the cost of her recommendation.
“Where do you get your tretinoin from for $35? I always pay $80,” said one viewer.
