Throw away your $24 Refy brow gel – I’d pick my $10 drugstore buy any day and my $3 pencil is better than high-end
OVERPAYING makeup lovers will be raising an eyebrow over how much money they have been wasting on an unnecessary brow buy.
That’s because they can now get an even better drugstore find for less than half the price.
Lauren (@lolo.lehnen) certainly wasn’t about to pay full price for her fuller brows.
She was convinced that her frugal finds were just as good as name brand buys.
Lauren especially wants you to “throw away your $24 Ryfe brow gel.”
Instead, she was loving an affordable NYX brow glue.
She made it clear that she was never going back to the more expensive brand and was especially impressed with how her brows “never budged” now.
Her budget NYX brow gel which can be found at Target for $9.99 is described as featuring a non-sticky formula and offering 16 hours of wear.
With a natural-looking finish, it seemed to be doing the brow-taming trick – it’s no surprise that the find had plenty of five-star reviews.
“My go-to brow gel! My brows look laminated when I use this!” said one purchaser.
“This stuff is like glue, in a good way! It brushes through nice and has great hold and lasts a long time! It’s one of the better gels I have tried!” said another buyer.
And the buys kept coming.
Lauren was equally floored when she found a $3 Elf find that she thought performed better than “a majority of every high-end brow pencil I’ve ever tried.”
She also wants to save you from spending money on a a $26 Benefit gimme brow as she was just as pleased with a $4 Essence make me brow gel.
Some of her fans were eager to share their own affordable finds.
“I just tried the Milani Brow pencil and it’s perfection. The one from Colourpop is great but the component it comes in is trash,” said one follower.
“Wet and Wild brow pencil is just like the NYX brow pencil,” said another viewer.
