James Martin, 51, SPLITS with girlfriend after 12 years together as he’s spotted shopping with new love interest
JAMES Martin has split from his girlfriend Louise Davies after 12 years together.
And the TV chef, 51, has been spotted shopping with his new love interest – Arun Nayar‘s ex-wife Kim Johnson.
Arun was previously married to Elizabeth Hurley from 2007 to 2011 and he went on to marry Kim within a year.
James, who has become a household name thanks to shows like Saturday Kitchen for the BBC and ITV’s Saturday Morning, began dating TV producer Louise in 2011.
They met on the set of Celebrity Who Wants To Be A Millionaire and lived in Hampshire.
But he said in 2019 that he had no plans to ever marry.
He told Sunday People: “It doesn’t interest me in the slightest, mainly because I’ve catered for so many weddings, really.
“I admire people who do it, that’s fine, but I’m quite happy. I don’t need to spend 60 grand on a day, no, I’m more than happy thanks.”
James appeared to be in good spirits on an afternoon in Mayfair with stunning Kim.
The brunette wore a black miniskirt with tights and a blue jacket that featured gold buttons.
TV star James, who spoke about his 3st weight loss in 2022, was dressed in blue jeans, a navy body warmer, and a pale blue shirt which he teamed with a basball cap.
It follows news that Saturday Morning host James is “taking a break” from TV amid his private cancer battle.
The star was secretly diagnosed with facial cancer in 2018 before it returned on “several occasions”.
He recently revealed he’s taking time off to “get it sorted”.
James presented BBC’s Saturday Kitchen for ten years until 2016.
The following year he jumped to ITV where he has gone on to host Saturday Morning with James Martin.
He’s also filmed several food travel shows, dubbed the ‘adventure’ series, which have seen him travel across, Britain, America and Spain.
In July, the This Morning chef revealed his cancer battle after finding himself at the centre of shock bullying claims.
Leaked audio emerged of him ranting and swearing at staff 42 times as his anger boiled over after a drain was blocked at his home during filming for Saturday Morning.
James admitted that the end of 2017 was “one of the most fraught and difficult periods of my life” as he apologised for any hurt caused.
He had an operation in 2018 to remove facial cancer, but it has since returned.
Speaking to the audience at one of The James Martin Band’s live gigs, he told the crowd: “On a personal note, I just wanted to say thank you for 30 years of television.
“For me personally, I’ve been through a lot of s*** with cancer but I’m getting sorted at the end of next month.
“I will be back fighting at the end of February but I’m going on a little bit of a break to get that sorted.
“I just wanted to say thank you for all your support and all your messages.”
James shed 3st by cutting one drink out of his diet during lockdown.
“Yeah. Well, fizzy drinks, I don’t drink tea or coffee so fizzy drinks were always sort of my nemesis really and in the kitchen particularly,” he told Loose Women.
In a bid to change things, James said he simply swapped to just drinking water.
“The minute I swapped to water, it was nearly three stone,” he told the women.
