ORCHESTRAL MANOEUVRES IN THE DARK have been going for 46 years but it seems they aren’t as popular as they once were – they’re being forced to flog tickets on the cheap.

The English electronic band, fronted by Andy McCluskey and Paul Humphreys, will perform at London’s O2 Arena on Sunday and face a mad dash to get people there.

They have enlisted a seat-filling service to make sure there is a big enough crowd in the room.

Officially, tickets are on sale for upwards of £60.

Although they have quietly posted the show on website ShowFilmFirst, with tickets priced at just £10.

During their career, OMD have had seven Top Ten singles including Enola Gay and Maid Of Orleans, and went to No2 in November with their latest album Bauhaus Staircase.

After OMD, Andy stayed in the pop world, forming Atomic Kitten with Kerry Katona, Natasha Hamilton, and Liz McClarnon.

Back in 2019, Andy appeared on ITV’s Lorraine and said he wanted to apologise to Kerry as he had “no idea what I was getting the girls into.”

He said: “I knew she was going to be famous because she just had that kind of Marilyn Monroe syndrome and she didn’t know how pretty she was.

“But I didn’t realise what I was inflicting upon her, so I have taken the opportunity to apologise.”
