Brighton vs Arsenal preview
It’s a quick turnaround for these two as Arsenal make the short trip to Brighton on Saturday evening.
Following their very credible 0-0 draw with Manchester City, Arsenal returned to winning ways with a comfortable 2-0 victory over Luton Town.
The result was made all the sweeter by the fact that Mikel Arteta took the opportunity to rest several of his first-team players including Declan Rice, Gabriel Martinelli and Gabriel Jesus.
Fresh legs could be the difference given the scheduling, and Arteta’s received another timely boost in that department after hunting that superstar Bukayo Saka would return for this weekend’s fixture.
The Gunners are the league’s form side with 13 points from a possible 15 and have managed a clean sheet in each of their last four away Premier League matches.
As for Brighton, it’s been a difficult spell for them having lost four of their last seven – and failed to score against struggling Brentford during the week.
The Seagulls are clearly missing Kaoru Mitoma with goals a big issue for Roberto De Zerbi’s side. They’ve not scored more than once in any single game over the last eight outings.
