A BEAUTY fan has looked back to her ancestors to restore her hair to its former glory.

She lost nearly half her mane, but an ancient Indian technique worked its magic.

She experienced massive growth after using it and has luscious long locks today.

Seerat Saini’s (@seeratsaini_) viral video has gone stratospheric, attracting over 1.7 million views and 6,000 comments.

She shares her love of her Punjabi heritage, hair growth, fashion, and beauty on her TikTok.

“I’m going to spill some Indian hair secrets. So if your hair is falling out, I got you,” she said in her post.

“In 2019, I lost nearly half my hair, and I was able to grow it back using these techniques,” she explained.

Her secret was Ayurvedic hair massage, which has been used for thousands of years.

Its roots lie in Ayurvedic medicine, an alternative medicine system in the Indian subcontinent.

Ayurvedic hair massage focuses on pressure points, boosting blood circulation and promoting healthy and stronger hair growth.

She shared three finger massage exercises that can help encourage hair growth.

The first spot is eight fingers above the brow line. She demonstrated the exact position in her video.

The area is the center of yogic spiritual healing, she said, and massaging this point will help encourage hair growth.

In another movement, she linked her fingers and massaged the same spot.

This is good for receding hairlines or bald patches near the forehead.

The second massage point is 12 fingers above the brows. Ayurveda practitioners call this the “skull spot” or the highest point of your body.

It receives the least amount of blood flow and is where bald patches can start.

The final pressure point lies four fingers above the nape of your neck.

This is another area of your head that receives less oxygen and nutrition.

“Tilt your head makes the blood rush to your scalp nourishing hair follicles and making them grow,” she said.

Massage each pressure point for at least five minutes. Use oil if you prefer.

Commenters were willing to give this ancient method a go.

“This is so crazy. The first two points are exactly where I have hair loss patches,” said one person.

“Thank you for this. This is just what I needed,” said a second person.

“No wonder your hair is so beautiful,” wrote a third person.

And at least one commenter could vouch for this method.

“I started doing this a month ago when I saw this video and I’ve noticed new growth. Thank you for the tip,” they said.
