THE Islanders were left in a tizzy last night after two bombshells came into the villa – but viewers think more is yet to come.
Contestants were shocked to see a new man and woman walking in just moments after Samantha was axed during a tense recoupling ceremony.
Matilda Draper and Konnor Ewudzi are already turning heads, but based on a twist from a previous season of Love Island, fans have predicted that they will be a threat to existing couples in more ways than one.
In season nine after new hot singles joined the cast in Mallorca, they were given the power to boot one couple out.
This happened after a public vote where three pairings were revealed to be the least liked by audiences at home.
The villa newbies had to pick one of the unpopular couples to be evicted immediately.
Fans have shared their theories that this will happen again, with one saying: “I think we will get a twist like in S9, whereby Konnor and Matilda decide who to dump from those in the bottom.”
Another chimed in: “I hope so, it wouldn’t be fair to them if a person they’re potentially into got dumped before they could recouple.”
Even if the twist doesn’t happen, people already dating in the villa have been left panicking as their partners could jump ship and start seeing Matilda or Konnor instead.
A source exclusively told The Sun: “Two bombshells went in last night. It was a huge shock to the islanders who were not expecting new arrivals so soon after they sent in three people last week.
“They’re both drop dead gorgeous and started turning heads immediately.
“Right now, very few islanders feels safe in their couples.”
