He recently took to social media with a powerful point to mark Windrush Day in tribute to his great aunt and grandmother.
Since then, fans have left comments in droves as they expressed concern for his welfare in the wake of the breakup.
One fan asked the star if he was okay, to which he gave a short two word reply.
To confirm he is moving on from his split, Jay wrote: “Getting there.”
The BBC One star also posted a seemingly artistic image of an unusable black chair.
It sat in a mostly empty room, along with a selection of different coloured aprons that hung off wall hooks on top of a wooden shelf.
He captioned the photo: “THOUGHT OF THE DAY. You’ll Never find a Rainbow if you’re looking Down. -Charlie Chaplin. Keep your Head Up.”
His devoted followers rejoiced as he made his way back into the public eye after cancelling a high-profile appearance.
One user gushed: “Great to see you back on here .”
A second commented: “This is beautiful and so true “life is about dancing in the rain while the sun sings its music and the rainbows deliver hope” Have a wonderful day
“Keep moving forward and always look up and see where you going ,” stated a third fan.
As a fourth added: “Thank you Jay, hope you are doing ok xx.”
This comes after The Sun reported that his wife is planning a ‘quickie’ divorce.
‘No Way Back’
Lisa-Marie, 43, reportedly decided there is “no way back” for their marriage and has consulted with lawyers.
The devastated workout guru is thought to have found a new home to herself, as she told pals she wants to move on as quickly as possible.
The Sun previously told how she split from The Repair Shop presenter and grabbed her bags before leaving.
A source explained: “Lisa wants a divorce — and wants it to happen quickly. She is ready to move on with her life and has decided there is no way back.
Focus on the future
“She has had loads of support from family and friends — including her fitness community.“
They added: “Lisa has spoken to lawyers and wants them to sort out everything as soon as they can.
“She isn’t flush with money, so wants it all done so she can focus on her business.”
