I fell in love with a £28 jumpsuit but it made me look like a Ghostbuster – I put the boo in Boohoo
A WOMAN who fell in love with a £28 jumpsuit on Boohoo was left in hysterics when it arrived and she tried it on.
Cailín insisted she was “violently aware” that she wasn’t going to look like the “20-year-old thin white blonde” woman modelling the jumpsuit online.
But she couldn’t have predicted what she would look like in the one-piece.
She took to TikTok to share a video of herself in the ensemble, as she laughed: “I wasn’t expecting to look like, ‘Is there something strange in your neighbourhood? Who you gonna call?'”
As Cailín continued singing the Ghostbusters theme tune, she added some sunglasses and joked she needed a “proton pack” to complete the look.
She then added a homemade Ghostbusters earring, made for her by her seven-year-old son, as she concluded: “I ain’t afraid of no ghosts!”
“Putting the BOO in @boohoo,” Cailín hilariously captioned the video.
“Anyone have a plasma series Spengler proton pack I can borrow?”
As well as looking like a Ghostbusters costume, the Boohoo jumpsuit was also far too long for Cailín.
People in the comments section couldn’t help but laugh at the finished look, with some adding they’d had similar experiences with jumpsuits.
“This was me with a Lucy and Yak jumpsuit,” one wrote.
“It was green and my dad asked me when does my new shift start to collect bins!”
“I got one in olive green.. i look like ‘highway to the danger zone…'” another added.
“Oh my god I brought exactly the same and did a video like this for my friend!!” a third laughed.
“I’ve never tried anything on like this in my life,it’s like a bin bag!!!!!”
“It’s giving recycle,” Cailín replied.
“No I literally ordered this as well, tried it on and thought the EXACT same thing!!!” someone else commented.
“Like who is this designed to fit?!”
“Wanna keep it and go trick or treating???” Cailín joked.
Meanwhile, others were more perturbed by just how long the trousers were on the jumpsuit.
“I once ordered a pair of ‘flared leggings’ in a U.K. 14 and I could put them on and pull them up to my shoulders… I’m 5ft6 for reference,” one said.
