A BOARD-CERITIFED plastic surgeon has revealed how to prevent and reverse ageing around your eyes – and you can buy one of them at Boots for £7.
Michigan-based pro, Dr. Anthony Youn, took to TikTok to spill the tips and tricks – and none of them call for a pricey surgery and other treatments.
The guru, who also recently launched his new book Younger for Life, focuses on holistic beauty and anti-aging without spending a fortune.
In this clip, the surgeon shared his expertise on how beauty lovers can improve the appearance of their eye area with four easy solutions – and it could be as simple as wearing sunglasses.
”Not only will it protect the sensitive eyelid skin from the UV rays of the sun, but it also will prevent you from squinting, which can create crow’s feet wrinkles,” he explained.
By now, we all know how important a healthy diet is – and if you want to banish wrinkles and maintain a youthful glow, the beauty pro urged to reduce the amount of ultra-processed foods, such as crisps and sweets.
As explained by the US-based whizz, consuming salty foods can cause your body to hold onto extra water – and this can can contribute to puffiness around your eye area.
It’s summer – and fellow allergy victims will know just how unbearable the pollen and dust can get.
But according to Dr. Anthony, not only is the continuous sneezing and irritation annoying – it can also lead to ageing around the eyes due to rubbing.
”The eyelid skin is some of the thinnest skin of the whole body, and aggressively rubbing that skin can cause it to stretch out.”
As well as ensuring you have your allergies under control this season, the surgeon also advised to add a retinol eye cream to your beauty routine.
