‘2017 me would be screaming “Girl, where TF are your lashes at!”‘ Maisie Smith says as she shows off epic glow down
EX-EastEnders star Maisie Smith wowed fans after sharing a jaw-dropping glow-down of ditching her lashes.
The former star of the cult favourite series took to TikTok to stun her followers with the epic transformation of opting for a more natural look.
Although the loyal fanbase of the 23-year-old beauty may now recognise her from her stunning, less glam aesthetic, Maisie hasn’t always looked this way.
The actress, who first shot to fame after landing her role in the UK soap opera EastEnders, recently proved that she was a totally different persona less than a decade ago.
Sharing the incredible makeover to her 2.7million followers, Maisie – who is currently enjoying a romantic getaway with fellow star Max George – Maisie first uploaded a snap of herself in 2017.
The blurry image saw the red-head stunner smiling to the camera with a chic up-do, a figure-hugging mini dress in fiery red, as well as heavy make-up that was completed with what appeared to be massive falsies.
But fast-forward seven years and the 23-year-old seems to have ditched the one-glamorous aesthetic – as well as the heavy lashes.
The second snap saw Maisie, who sparked engagement rumours earlier this year, show off her toned figure in a gorgeous bodycon dress with cut-out detailing.
What was once a face full of cakey make-up and a bright lippy had been replaced by a natural glow, a nude pout and a simple yet effortless hairdo.

,” Maisie chuckled in the caption, adding that she’d done it ”for love”.
Totally gobsmacked by the difference between the two images, dozens of social media users flocked to comments to share their thoughts on the epic glow-down.
”The first is screaming Tiffany,” joked one person.
Someone else was in total awe at the natural beauty, writing: ”You are glowing.”
”So so beautiful 
,” chimed in another.
Amongst the viewers was also one who thanked the talented actress for inspiring them to ”embrace” their natural locks.
”Girl you’re so beautiful! You’ve really made me feel comfortable to finally embrace my natural hair colour.”
”Eyelash blindness is a real thing,” remarked a fellow fan.
Criticism over the 13-year age gap with Max
Maisie and Max, 35, firs met on Strictly Come Dancing in 2020 while they were both competing on the show.
Despite their 13-year age gap, the couple -whose friendship turned into romance pretty quickly- appear to be too loved-up to pay attention to any criticism.
Maisie previously told The Sun’s Fabulous Magazine: “If it wasn’t that, it would be something else.
“People don’t understand what goes on behind closed doors in a relationship, and I think they also forget that I’m a consenting 21-year-old woman who’s actually been working longer than Max!
“I don’t notice the age difference and neither do my friends or family.
” My mum Julia is the one who reads through all the comments. I got a message from her yesterday, saying: ‘Just ignore them, you two were made for each other’.”
