Speaking to The U.S. Sun, he shared easy hacks for a pristine home.
SPOTLESS KITCHEN
Conceicao said “excessive scrubbing” can be avoided by using natural products to loosen up grease and debris in the kitchen.
His top recommendations for an effective clean are vinegar and baking soda.
He suggested also investing in tools that improve the ease of getting surfaces sparkling.
“Steam cleaning appliances are ideal for sanitizing kitchen equipment and maintaining a high baseline standard of hygiene,” he said.
“Regularly decluttering and organizing cabinets will prevent dirt traps from forming, making routine cleaning a breeze.”
It can be tempting to use metal utensils or harsh abrasives when washing the dishes, but Conceicao warns this can damage nonstick pans.
“Make sure your pans have had time to cool before washing them,” he said.
“In my experience, washing them by hand tends to be safer than subjecting them to the dishwasher.
“You can extend your pans’ lifespan by storing them properly after cleaning, using either a protective liner or hanging rack.”
SPARKLING BATHROOM
Conceicao said the process of cleaning bathrooms can be sped up by using a multipurpose cleaner or DIY solution.
He said the substance should be left to sit on surfaces while you complete other tasks.
“Microfiber cloths are great for wiping down surfaces, while a good quality scrub brush will prove invaluable when tackling tougher grime,” he said.
“By sticking to a consistent cleaning schedule, you can prevent deep-set stains and mold from bedding in.”
TIDY BEDROOM
Conceicao said pillowcases and duvet covers can accumulate sweat, oils, and allergens.
Therefore it’s advisable to wash bedding at least once a week.
“It’s also worth airing out your mattress on a semi-regular basis so you’re not placing fresh bedding on a dirty foundation,” he said.
Spot cleaning spills as soon as they occur will prevent stains from setting in and reduce the need for frequent deep washes.

The cleaning expert recommended routinely washing rugs around the home for hygiene purposes.
“Rugs should ideally be washed every 6 to 12 months, depending on foot traffic and other environmental factors,” he said.
“Spot cleaning spills as soon as they occur will prevent stains from setting in and reduce the need for frequent deep washes.
“I’ve found that regular vacuuming minimizes the presence of dust and allergens.”
