The Three Lions are playing in the final in Berlin on Sunday after winning their semi-final clash against the Netherlands 2-1 on Wednesday, thanks to a late goal by Ollie Watkins.
In honour of the big sporting fixture, several supermarkets have shared that they are changing their opening hours on Sunday or Monday to give staff some time off.
Below we outline what we know so far about how each major supermarket’s opening times will be affected.
Lidl
The German discount store Lidl has confirmed that all its England stores will open one hour later on Monday, irrespective of if England wins or not.
Lidl stores typically open at 8am on Mondays, so the change in hours means that most will welcome customers from 9am.
On Sunday, stores will open and close as normal.

Ryan McDonnell, chief executive officer, said: “We know how much this game means to England fans, and we want to ensure that our colleagues have the chance to celebrate such a significant moment in English football history.
“We couldn’t achieve our goals without our colleagues, so in recognition of their hard work and dedication, this move will allow them to join in the excitement and show support for the England team, and we wish them the best of luck for the big game.”
Aldi
There will be no change to the opening hours at any of Aldi‘s 1,000 UK branches on either Sunday or Monday.

Tesco will have mixed opening hours on Sunday.
The UK’s biggest supermarket said it will shut 1,800 Express stores across the country at 7.30pm instead of the usual 10pm or 11pm, to give staff members time off to watch the game.
The alteration will mean thousands of shop workers can head home or to the pub in time for kick-off – and they won’t have their pay docked.
All online shopping orders already placed for Sunday evening will be honoured and delivered as normal.
Tesco Express and Superstores in Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland will be operating normal opening hours on Sunday.
All UK branches will open as normal on Monday.

All Sainsbury’s stores will open as normal on Monday morning at 6am or 7am.
