My man is 22 years older than me & I’m closer in age to his kids…trolls say I have ‘daddy issues’, they’re just jealous
A WOMAN has revealed that she is in an age gap relationship and is closer in age to her partner’s children, than him.
Hillary, 35, who is from the US, explained that her man is 22 years older than her, and together, they live a nomadic lifestyle, travelling across the country in their motorhome and documenting their many adventures online.
Originally from North Carolina, Hillary met her partner Kris, 57, through working for the same company, and travelled extensively for work prior to the COVID pandemic hitting.
But through the hardships of the pandemic, where they went from jetting off across the country to being confined to a small apartment, the couple then impulsively bought an RV, and began to work remotely whilst travelling the country.
They then fully committed to nomadic life in 2022, selling their home and living in the vehicle full-time.
But in a recent TikTok clip, the engaged couple addressed the hottest question they get from fans – and it’s about their age gap relationship rather than their lifestyle.
Hillary explained: “We’re an age gap couple, and we have a 20-year age gap difference between the two of us, and we get a lot of questions about our relationship,
“The number one question being this one, which is ‘do we want to have kids together?’.”
To this, Kris explained that he already has two sons in their mid-20s, and doesn’t plan on having any more children.
Currently in her mid-30s, Hillary revealed that she “never wanted kids before”.
Hillary added: “I used to get that question a lot, people would say ‘well don’t you want to have kids?’, and the answer is no.”
She then shared: “I’ve never wanted to have kids of my own. I just never had that mum gene. I’m a fur baby mum though and through.”
Hillary acknowledged that there is “nothing wrong” with not wanting kids, claiming the choice is “totally fine”.
She later opened up on her relationship with Kris’ kids, as she shared: “I love his kids and we get along really well. I’m actually closer in age to his kids than I am to Kris, but it works for us.”
