My Italian kitchen buy healed my acne & faded dark spots – I stopped wearing foundation because my skin looks so good

She said the cooking staple took away her need to wear makeup to cover any imperfections.

SKIN SAVIOR
The beauty fan said she was having “constant” acne breakouts before deciding to try olive oil to target dryness.
She stopped using all other skincare products except for a nighttime face wash, sunscreen, and extra virgin olive oil.
Impressed by the results, she said her skin had “never looked this good.”
“I had really bad dark spots from picking and hormonal acne,” she said, writing under the handle Yellowsubmarine202.
“My eyebrows, chin, and cheeks would get flakey.
“I have one acne spot now that has almost completely faded.”
She revealed that olive oil is now in her skincare routine twice daily.
In the morning, she lets the olive oil “soak” into her skin before applying sunscreen and doesn’t use a face wash.
In the evening, she cleans her face using TonyMoly’s I’m Rice Exfoliating face wash.
She then applies more olive oil all over her face before going to bed.
“I’m using extra virgin olive oil straight from Italy,” she said. “I feel like using the best olive oil gives the best results, ya know?”
“Super easy and I’ve stopped using foundation,” she added. “I’m so happy. I hope this works for others as well!”
OUTSTANDING OIL
A flood of commenters were grateful for the hack and many people said they’ve also seen wonders from using olive oil.
“Agree 100000 percent,” one person said.
“ It’s been the best moisturizer I’ve ever used and my skin cleared up. I love it so much.”
What are the benefits of using olive oil?
Vitamins A, D, K, and E are among the list of nutrients found in olive oil, according to Healthline.
Pure olive oil is an antioxidant that may be beneficial for reversing skin damage caused by ultraviolet radiation.
The natural ingredient can also help to “kill off” the bacteria that cause acne while leaving the skin hydrated.
Experts recommend doing a patch test before applying olive oil all over the face.
“Been doing it for three years,” another wrote.
“Skin has never been more clear. But I also have extremely dry skin so this works for me.”
“I use olive oil too for my face and really all over just like a moisturizer,” a third chimed in.
“I’m an esthetician and I can tell you natural is always better. Folks bashing us for doing so don’t understand how many chemicals are in their products.
“So let them slather chemicals all over their face then…jokes on them.
“As far as texture my face has become very soft and my acne completely disappeared.
“I’m 38. So why not try it for a week and be likely impressed and save tons of money.”
