The Algarve can be easily accessed by touching down at Faro Airport, which is around a 50-minute drive from the region’s best beaches.

In fact, in recent years, the Algarve has been dubbed the “California of Europe” by travel experts and locals.

September weather guarantees that the Algarve’s allure will not fade, making it the perfect getaway for anyone hoping to linger in the sun a bit longer.
