My ‘tech neck’ lines were greatly reduced with a ‘panel’ – it’s helped with my jowls and nasolabial folds too
A SKINCARE aficionado cracked the code to battle tech neck, jowls, and nasolabial folds in one go.
She said her beauty buy made a deep line in her neck “completely unnoticeable.”
Redditor Og_kitten_mittens shared her tips in a thread about expensive products that are worth the cash.
Her must have? A red light therapy panel.
She has rosacea and it also helped to even out her skin tone.

Red light therapy used to be an amenity you could only find at high-end spas.
Now, beauty shoppers can bring the five-star treatment home with red light panels that are smaller and easier to transport.
“I have rosacea and it has helped a lot with skin evenness,” the Redditor said.
“I was beginning to get jowls and nasolabial folds (no static lines though) and those are reduced versus four years ago, pre-RLT.”
She warned, though, that when she “falls off the wagon” for more than three months, the results are reversed.
“The sag begins to return and the line of my jaw to chin isn’t smooth and develops a little lump in my jowl area under the corner of my mouth.
It works on more than just her face.
“Most noticeably, my ‘tech neck’ lines, which I’ve had since birth, are greatly reduced,” she said.
“They used to be very deep and noticeable in all lighting.
“Products like lotion and conditioner and hair dye could collect in the creases.”
After using red light therapy faithfully, she has seen a stark difference in her skin.
“Now the bottom one is completely unnoticeable in good lighting and the top one is greatly diminished,” she said.
The Redditor added that she doesn’t have brand loyalty to any specific red light panel.
“I’ve had Biomax, Mito Pro, a mat from Comfytemp, and a small torch from some random Amazon brand and would recommend them all,” she said.
“Half of the mat’s diodes went out after a year, but it was super cheap so I don’t care.”

While the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has approved some LED therapies for some use, precautions like shielding the eyes should be taken, according to Harvard Health.
