Rebecca Adlington sends fans wild with bold outfit during BBC Olympics 2024 coverage as they gush ‘I’m mesmerised’
REBECCA ADLINGTON’S dazzling dress turned a momentous day for Team GB into a “mesmerising” evening for TV viewers.
Fans loved the swimming legend’s cool and colourful choice on the seventh evening of the Paris Games.
Britain’s Olympians notched three golds, three silvers and a bronze on Friday to sit fifth in the medal table.
But many viewers were almost as transfixed by the BBC pundit’s frock.
The top gong for praise went to this post: “I’m absolutely mesmerised by Rebecca Adlington’s dress this evening. It’s stunning. Her sense of style is wonderful.”

The Mansfield star posted a snap of herself in the dress – and listed where her frock, shoes, hair and make-up, plus styling, had come from.
And for viewers enquiring where she’d got the gown, the answer was Boden.
One fan responded to Rebecca’s revelation by posting: “Love your commentary and love your dresses! Going to miss the swimming team you’ve all been brilliant!”
And in fact, after a recount, it was a tie for gold – between praise for her punditry and her “fab” outfits.
