YOU may have your hands on some “extremely rare” and lucrative coins so it’s worth checking your pesky change now.
A pair of 10p coins is up for grabs on eBay for a staggering £840 or £420 each – around 4,000 more in value than a regular ten pence.

It’s thought that only ten proofs of the ten pence coin were ever made by the Royal Mint.
And this ten pence is particularly coveted as the pair are made from pricey platinum.
The coins, produced back in 2015 claims to deliver within three days but the seller only entertains UK buyers.
The seller claims each coins weighs 8.6g of platinum and says it’s “extremely rare with just ten of each minted”.
As the Royal Arms has remained virtually unchanged since the reign of Queen Victoria, the shield is quartered with England three lions passant guardant, forming the Coat of Arms.
The obverse, or head of the coin depicts the stunning Fifth Portrait of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II by engraver Jody Clark.
However, if you’re looking to get lucky with just one coin you may be out of luck.
“These were only issued in a 16 coin set so it’s unlikely to be available individually anytime soon.”
He added that the paid had been quality checked by a well-known coin company.
“Both slabbed and graded by NGC as PF70 Ultra Cameo and PF69 Ultra Cameo.”
If you do get your hands on the extra special coin you’ll receive it in a special box complete with a clear lid so you can see your treasure peeking through.
But if you don’t fancy forking out shy of a grand, it’s worth checking your pockets to see if you’ve got one of the treasured ten pence coins.

And because there’s only a limited amount, they can sell for multiple times their face value.
