‘Run, don’t walk’ shoppers race to Tesco to buy dupe of £595 viral cloud chair – and it’s just £35 with a Clubcard
HOMEWARE fans are racing to Tesco for an incredible new dupe.
While they’re known to have upped their game with the F&F fashion offerings so far this year, it looks like the supermarket is set to be equally successful with their latest homeware drop.
It’s a dupe of the £595 Sweetpea & Willow Arcadia stool – but theirs doesn’t do as much as the Tesco one[/caption]Ellie was lucky enough to find one of the transforming stools in her local Tesco, and quickly snapped it up.
When she got home, she demonstrated just how it works in a video on her TikTok page, kicking off with the stool as it is ordinarily.
Ellie then removed the top of the stool and flipped up the back, before replacing the top to make a cute chair.
“Girlies, run don’t walk to @Tesco £35 with ya club card!!” she captioned her video.
And people in the comments section were quick to admit they were planning a trip to Tesco after seeing the video.
“Love this,” one wrote.
“I’d seen a different one but I really want this now!”
“I need this for my box room!!” another added.
“I literally have been looking for one of these!!” a third sighed.
As someone else said: “I bought this the other day too!! It’s great!”
“I’m obsessed!” Ellie replied.
She also helpfully answered other people’s questions, revealing that it’s called the “3 in 1 ottoman stool” and she “found it down the seasonal aisle”.
She hasn’t been able to find it online, but said the measurements are “40cm tall as a stool but when it’s a chair it’s 63cm and 46cm wide”.
As an added bonus, when the seat top comes off, you can use it as storage.
The F&F stool is a dupe of the Sweetpea & Willow Arcadia Stool, which went viral earlier this year thanks to people raving about the “cloud chair”.
That one’s slightly more expensive though, and will actually set you back £595.
How has Tesco's F&F upped its game
By Fabulous’ Fashion Editor Clemmie Fieldsend
ZARA has become a high street staple in recent years thanks to its hot-off-the-catwalk designs and affordable prices.
But recently those prices have risen with the brand’s popularity.
However, if you are looking for high fashion inspired outfits with low price tags you needn’t drag yourself to your local shops, just head to the supermarket instead.
F&F has come a long way from selling a few backs of T-shirts and fluffy dressing gowns and is now a must have shopping destination for thousands.
They produce good quality, long lasting and on trend clothes that puts others to shame.
F&F is filled with Zara dupes and other looks inspired by our favourite shops that will set you back less than £50 – and you can get them while you pick up your dinner.
I for one love F&F denim, it’s durable, fits really well and has all the best silhouettes.
So even if you’re not looking for reasonable prices but just want good clothes, get yourself to Tesco.
“The chic, Arcadia Stool by Eichholtz is perfect for giving your home a luxurious, boutique look and feel,” they said in the product description on the website.
“It comes upholstered in luxurious boucle cream fabric and is cushioned to perfection for maximum comfort.”
However, unlike the Tesco one, it doesn’t seem to be able to transform into a stool or have the added storage inside by being able to remove the top.
