PC gamers grab huge recent full-price hit completely free but it’s only for a limited time
PC gaming is often known for having some of the best deals as games drop to ridiculously low prices on online storefronts.
While gamers can often pick up popular games for just pennies, the Epic Games Store offers free games to users every week.

This week is a particularly good week for those using the Epic Games Store as there is a recent triple-A game worth £50/$60 up for grabs.
The first game available for free on the Epic Games Store is The Callisto Protocol, a spacey survival horror from the developers behind Dead Space.
Originally released in 2022, it competed against the Dead Space remake from the original studio to fight sci-fi survival crown.
In comparison to Dead Space remake, The Callisto Protocol focuses more on fighting the monsters rather than sneaking by them and focusing on their weak spots to take them down.
It’s a different take on the genre compared to the developers’ earlier games but worth giving a go, particularly as it’s free.
The other game that’s available for free this week is Gigantic Rampage Edition.
This is a 5v5 MOBA hero shooter where you can team up with friends and others online in all-out battles.
Gigantic is the less popular of the two games on offer this month, but as it’s also free it could be worth adding to your Epic Games library.
It usually costs £16.99/$19.99, so you’ll get a good deal by picking this one up.
If you decide to pick up both games, you’ll save a massive £67/$80 making it one of the best deals on the web.
Both games are available for a week until Thursday, August 30, 2024, when they will be replaced by three games from the Fallout series.
All you need to claim them is a free Epic Games account, but you’ll need to download the Epic Games Store Launcher if you want to play them.
This is also completely free, so the games come with no strings attached.
You can claim both games via their store pages, directly through the launcher, or via the Epic Games Store website.
