Tommy Fury messaging scandal takes new twist as girl who accused him of sending ‘flirty DMs’ claims she was CATFISHED
TOMMY Fury’s messaging scandal has taken a surprising twist as the girl who accused him of sending “flirty DMs’ claims she was catfished.
On Thursday, TikToker Kay Keogh claimed Tommy’s friend asked for her Instagram handle on a night out before the boxer messaged her.

But she has since returned to the social media platform and revealed that she was duped by an fake account claiming to be Tommy.
In the video, Kay confessed: “I obviously got catfished.
“Someone was basically, definitely tolling me because another fake account has messaged me and they’ve literally said to me ‘you actually thought that was him? that was me.’
The influencer then explained the misunderstanding and how she was duped into believing she met Tommy on a night out.
“And obviously people are gonna be like ‘but you said you saw him?’ but like I said, I was really confused already,” she went on.
“And it was also really weird that I was just in Manchester and we had gone to a private event and there was a group of guys and one of the guys could have passed for being him.”
She continued: “Like I said, I don’t even now know what he really looks like.
“I know he has brown hair and is like really muscly.
“But yeah this person has messaged me and basically told me they were trolling me.”
She then added that she was surprised that people can now “buy verifications and change their name” on social media.
The Sun have contacted Tommy’s rep for comment.
Earlier this week, Kay posted a video saying Tommy had messaged on social media.
She told her fans: “I was thinking about whether I should make this video or not, but I am going to.
“So, me and my friends were out in Manchester and we actually met him [Tommy] one night.
“Basically, we were on a night out with a group of guys and I didn’t really put two and two together of who he really was.
“One of the guys asked for my Instagram, which I gave to him.
“We were all together, but basically after looking at my phone and seeing his name pop up, that’s when I realised who he was.
“Obviously, after I saw his name pop up I was thinking ‘What the hell?’
“Then I obviously realised who he was, but I literally have DMs and I don’t know whether I should put them out or not.”
In a second video, Kay added: “So this is part two of the Tommy situation, my friend was there so she is going to explain what happened as well.”
Her friend then said: “I am not from the UK so I did not recognise him until we looked at the DM and obviously we were on his page.”
A fire emoji can be seen on the screen beneath Tommy’s Instagram handle and Kay replied: “??”
A second message read: “Are you in Manchester?” alongside a wide eye emoji.
Some details have been erased from the screenshot including the date and time of the alleged messages.
Molly-Mae dumped Tommy after his holiday to North Macedonia earlier this month – a year after they got engaged.
Sources told The Sun Molly-Mae has been “bracing herself” for more women to come forward.
They said: “Molly-Mae is now aware Tommy was unfaithful to her. She believes it has happened a number of times.
“It seems he would play away when he knew people wouldn’t recognise him.”
