A savvy shopper noticed the apparent bargain and shared the news with like-minded bargain hunters on Facebook.
Taking to the Extreme Couponing and Bargains group on the social media site, the shopper posted a pic of the deal and simply wrote: “Home Bargains… usually £19.”
One person was suitably impressed, writing: “This stuff is fab.”
Another simply said: “Need.”
While a third posted: “That’s brill. Best thing.”
Others though weren’t quite so impressed and wondered if the product really worked.
One added: “It’s awful it’s so sticky! And does nothing to ur teeth.”
Another added: “Don’t waste your money.”
And a third person went online to say: “Both my sons tried this…does nothing.”
Many stars, including Kim Kardashian, Kylie Jenner and Connor McGregor have endorsed the product in the past.
In March last year, Kardashian took to her Instagram account to promote the Hismile product.
The second oldest Kardashian sister shared a snap of herself flaunting her white smile, which she credited to Hismile in her Instagram Stories.
However, it is important to note that with items like these, stock will be limited from store to store.
It’s always worth shopping around when looking for deals as you might be able to find a better one elsewhere.
How to compare prices to get the best deal
JUST because something is on offer, or is part of a sale, it doesn't mean it's always a good deal.
There are plenty of comparison websites out there that’ll check prices for you – so don’t be left paying more than you have to.
Most of them work by comparing the prices across hundreds of retailers.
Here are some that we recommend:
- Google Shopping is a tool that lets users search for and compare prices for products across the web. Simply type in keywords, or a product number, to bring up search results.
- Price Spy logs the history of how much something costs from over 3,000 different retailers, including Argos, Amazon, eBay and supermarkets. Once you select an individual product you can quickly compare which stores have the best price and which have it in stock.
- Idealo is another website that lets you compare prices between retailers. All shoppers need to do is search for the item they need and the website will rank them from the cheapest to the most expensive one.
- CamelCamelCamel only works on goods being sold on Amazon. To use it, type in the URL of the product you want to check the price of.
