Grey 3-bed home where Meghan Markle lived while dating Harry is on sale & it’s tony compared to her £12m Montecito pad
THE house that Meghan Markle lived in when she was working on Suits is now up for sale – and it’s world’s apart from the £12million mansion she shares with Prince Harry.
The Duchess of Sussex rented the cosy, three-bedroom house in Toronto, Canada, when she was starring as paralegal Rachel Zane.

The two-storey townhouse was recently listed for £1.06million, although the page has since been removed suggesting a sale has been made.
While Meghan was living in this Seaton Village house, she started dating Prince Harry and her life took a very different turn.
The royal even visited his American actress girlfriend there in October 2016 when their relationship was still under wraps.
Harry wrote in his Spare memoir: “Meg was excited to show me her life, her dogs—her little house, which she adored.
“And I was eager to see it all, to know every last detail about her.”
Inside Meghan’s home
Meghan gave fans a sneaky look inside her Toronto home on her since-deleted Instagram.
The three-bedroom, two bathroom pad was said to be decked out “like a California bungalow” and had a very feminine feel.
It was kept decorated with lots of flowers, gilded mirrors, a pink striped rug in the hallway and chic white furniture.
The former actress, who rented the house in the city’s west end for at least two years, is clearly a fan of reading, as the home was full of books kept all over the house.
In true Hollywood fashion, the Suits starlet also had a lavish walk-in wardrobe where she devoted an entire wall to her enviable collection of high heels.
Maintaining the minimal colour scheme, Meghan’s wardrobe featured bright white walls and marble floors for a luxurious feel.
Like a woman after our own hearts, Meghan covered every surface with fresh flowers (pink peonies were a particular favourite) as well having plenty of luxury candles on display for an understated touch.
Meghan loved the area, and said back in 2015: “It’s really funny because I think as much of a big city as Toronto is, it’s so different from L.A. or New York.
“There [are] no paparazzi so it’s really easy to just have a normal life.”

Meghan lived in the home with two rescue dogs, Guy and Bogart, but sadly had to leave Bogart with friends when she moved to the UK.
Harry noted in Spare: “He’d been so traumatised by the siege of her house, by the constant ringing of the doorbell, that his demeanour changed when Meg was around.
“He’d become an aggressive guard dog.
“Meg’s neighbours had graciously agreed to adopt him.”
After she left, the home sold quickly, with real estate agent Alex Beauregard saying at the time, “I don’t feel like we’re going to see a princess premium.
“Would you pay an extra $20,000 because the prince used this washroom? I don’t think most people would pay a premium.”

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex splashed out on their nine-bedroom Montecito mansion after stepping back from royal life.
The sprawling 16-bath home is located in a star-studded enclave in California and sits on 5.4 acres of land.
Fit for royalty, it features a library, office, spa, gym, game room, wine cellar and five-car garage, it’s believed.
