LEANN Rimes burst onto the scene as a young country star in the 90s, and quickly went onto become a superstar singer.
The talented star is now trying her hand at something different, as a new coach on The Voice UK.

Margaret LeAnn Rimes Cibrian was born on August 28, 1982, in Mississippi to parents Wilbur and Belinda Rimes.
She is an American singer-songwriter who landed her first record contract at the age of 11.
LeAnn originally rose to success as a country music artist at the age of 13 and has since crossed over into pop.
Speaking about starting her career so young, the singer told People Magazine: “For most celebrities, there’s this piece that people forget that they’re human.
“Especially starting so young, that was pushed to the wayside for a long time.
“It’s like my humanity was forgotten about, and now to be in connection so deeply within myself, for people to connect with me on that level has been so powerful.”
Over the years she has toured the world playing at sell out concerts, and has huge army of fans.
LeAnn has sold 48 million records worldwide and had 40 chart hits.
In 2024, it was announced she had joined The Voice UK as one of their coaches.
Speaking about being part of the hit ITV series, LeAnn said: “I knew was going to enjoy it but not as much as I have.
“I love connecting with all of the artists, finding songs they connect to and creating these performances.
“For me it’s not just about creating performances but creating moments that are really powerful.”
Joining The Voice isn’t LeAnn’s first time being on a TV talent show.
In 2020, the star won the fourth series of The Masked Singer US.

Speaking about winning, LeAnn told People Magazine: “I didn’t expect such an emotional journey from The Masked Singer.
“The whole show surprised me. I had only seen clips of the show before I signed on to do it, and I didn’t expect the emotion and creativity.
“There was truly a deep thought process that went into being the Sun and creating the Sun, and the songs that I was performing.
“So it felt fantastic to win after the rollercoaster of being a part of all of that creativity.”
If this wasn’t enough LeAnn is also an actress and has starred in many romantic movies.
Her biggest one to date is the smash hit film Cayote Ugly in 2000, which she also sang in.

LeAnn has been married twice in her life.
Her first husband was Dean Sheremet, who she wed in 2002 but divorced in 2009.
LeAnn’s second husband, who she is married to now, is Eddie Cibrian.
The actor was married to Brandi Glanville at the time when they met and it caused a big scandal.

Brandi married the Sunset Beach actor Eddie in 2001, but the couple filed for divorce in 2009 after his affair with LeAnn came to light.
Eddie and the singer first met while filming the Lifetime movie Northern Lights together, and after his divorce was finalised in 2010, the couple got engaged shortly after.
LeAnn and her husband were married in California on April 22, 2011, and she has been in an epic battle with the Bravo star ever since.
