Hollyoaks and Coronation Street star marries fiance 25 years after they first met in romantic Crete wedding
CORONATION Street star Saira Choudhry has married her fiance 25 years after they first met.
The actress, who played reporter Naila Badil on the ITV soap from 2013 until 2019, tied the knot to long-term boyfriend Marcus Jackson in romantic ceremony in Crete.

Saira wore her hair in a half updo with a bow and finished her look with flawless makeup.
She was joined by her friends and family as she walked down the aisle in front of a stunning mountain and sea view.
The couple partied into the early hours at a stunning outdoor venue.
Saira got engaged back in 2022 after businessman Marcus got down on one knee.
Sharing a picture of them together outside Edinburgh Castle, the soap actress wrote: “I said yesss. Mrs Jackson it is then. Love you. Met you 23 years ago.
“Who knew our journey would lead us here. Here’s to our next chapter.”
Saira’s followers – including some of her former Hollyoaks co-stars – were quick to congratulate her on the news.
Sarah Lawrence, who played Darlene on the show, wrote: “You deserve all the happiness in the world my girl.”
While another commented: “Congratulations. Awesome news for NYE.”
The couple are seeing in the New Year in Scotland with pals and now plan to party the night away as they celebrate their news.
The actress is best known for playing reporter Naila on Corrie.
Before that, she played troubled schoolgirl Anita Roy in Hollyoaks for four years between 2008 – 2012.
Saira has also appeared in a string of other TV roles including Cold Feet, Life and No Offence. She also currently stars in CBBC series Dodger.
