‘What in the yee-haw hell is this?’ People cry after surprise wedding – but it’s the outfits everyone is talking about
AN IMPROMPTU wedding has left people’s jaws on the floor, and it’s not the surprise element that’s left them in shock.
Guests originally thought they were gathering for a family reunion, but it was soon revealed they’d all be in attendance of the nuptials instead.
The couple both donned very casual looks for their big day[/caption] The bride opted for a orange T-shirt and the groom bared his chest[/caption]One of the guests shared some snaps of the big day on Facebook and they quickly went viral.
“I umm.. was unknowingly in attendance of this wedding,” she captioned the post.
“Family reunion turned random shotgun wedding. Welcome to America.”
The pictures show the newlyweds wearing matching denim dungarees, but while to bride opted for an orange T-shirt to wear underneath, the groom decided to go without a top altogether.
And while the groom donned black trainers to say ‘I do’, the bride went barefoot.
Don’t worry, the bride did have a white veil though – she pinned it to the back of he hair, which she wore in the plaits as she posed with her beau holding a garden hoe.
Unsurprisingly, Facebook users had a lot to say about the unconventional wedding.
One commented on the viral post: “Every single new word I read was like a punch to the face.”
“They really made a real choice there huh?! It’s the man boobs under his overalls that really make this moment shine,” a second said.
And a third wrote: “What in the yee-haw hell is this?”
Meanwhile, someone else joked: “I applaud the commitment to the theme. The ombré shades of denim. The delicate natural backdrop. And- um- the hats and hoes?”
“Man boobs and weddings do not mix. Her theme was country elegant,” another chimed in.
But the surprise wedding isn’t the only ceremony that’s left people stunned recently.
A mother-of-the-bride went viral on TikTok after she showed off her unique look which left people divided.
She shared a video of herself in the one-piece, which was in a very pale colour that looked to be just a smidge off white.
It featured a train and feathered sleeves, and the woman teamed it with a dramatic hat too.
While the outfit was undoubtedly flattering, lots of those weighing in on the ensemble insisted it was entirely unsuitable for a wedding.
“Mother of the bride really shouldn’t wear white,” one wrote.
“Mother of the bride should not wear white – tone down a bit,” another suggested.
“Who wears white at a wedding?” a third commented.
“Definitely not the mother of the bride!”
