THE National Television Awards was the perfect chance to party for famous faces across shows on the small screen – yet many looked ready for bed as the shindigs wrapped.

Yet Michelle Keegan – who was nominated for two gongs and wowed on the Red Carpet earlier in the night – switched the after parties for dinner in bed with husband Mark Wright.
Strictly Come Dancing waltzed away with the top prize in the talent show category in a big boost for the BBC amid a whirlwind of controversy over how contestants are treated.
