Clarkson’s Farm’s Kaleb Cooper reveals NONE of the team get a discount at new pub The Farmer’s Dog
CLARKSON’S Farm star Kaleb Cooper has revealed that NONE of the team get a discount at Jeremy’s new pub.
The former Top Gear star was inundated with fans when he opened up his new Cotswolds pub, The Farmer’s Dog recently.

His very own Hawkstone brewery provides the drinks to sell behind the bar at the new boozer.
Alongside the pub and restaurant, The Grand Tour host also opened up a special tent which sells other produce.
A butcher named Hops and Chops, sells fresh cuts of meat as well as special pies and rolls.
This is while punters can also get their hands on select chutneys, shandys, milk and other Clarkson’s Farm merchandise at the shop.
However, Kaleb, 26, and land agent Charlie Ireland have both insisted that despite working long days at Jezza’s 1,000-acre site, nobody on the team gets a discount at the new pub.
Speaking to The Sun Online on the red carpet at the 2024 NTA’s, Charlie explained: “I can easily say nobody gets a discount, not even Jeremy.”
“I don’t want a discount, I’d rather pay for everything to be honest.” Kaleb then declared.
Adding: “And of course, if anything’s got to make money, you’ve got to pay the right price.”
Both the pair then reflected on Jeremy’s early days in Oxfordshire when he first took over the farm.
The hit Amazon Prime show follows the veteran television personality as he attempts to run Diddly Squat, despite not having any farming experience.
Kaleb admitted: “I thought it was a joke to start off with.
“When he said, ‘I’m gonna take it on,’ actually Charlie, I think you told me. He was like, ‘I think Jeremy’s gonna take over the farm’. And I said, ‘No, he’s not.’
“And unfortunately, he did. But it’s good to have that farm manager role now, as seen on series three.
Meet the cast of Clarkson's Farm
Clarkson's Farm began streaming in 2021 and follows Jeremy Clarkson and his team managing Diddly Squat Farm in the Cotswolds. Here's a 'who's who' of faces in the Clarkson's Farm cast.
- Jeremy Clarkson: Presenter and journalist; also known for Top Gear, The Grand Tour and Who Wants to be a Millionaire?
- Lisa Hogan: A former actress and Jeremy’s partner, who assists in the running of the farm shop.
- Kaleb Cooper: A young farm worker from Chipping Norton, who forms a double act with Jeremy on-screen. He’s later promoted to farm manager in series three.
- Gerald Cooper: Specialist in the construction and maintenance of dry stone walls and the farm’s “head of security”. Of no relation to Kaleb.
- Charlie Ireland: Nicknamed “Cheerful Charlie”, a professional land agent who advises Jeremy on land management.
“And actually, I got a little bit of a say in what happens. So some will say he has to listen to me, but I don’t think that’s the case.”
We then asked Kaleb his thoughts on how the presenter fared in the early days of running the establishment, and he did not hold back his opinions.
“I mean, yeah. I mean, he f***** a lot of things up,” Kaleb stated.
But Charlie was a little more diplomatic about his boss’s efforts as he explained: “You know, it takes a lot of time to become skilled. You know, skilled operations.
I don’t want a discount, I’d rather pay for everything to be honest.
Kaleb Cooper speaking to The Sun
“Some people have a feel naturally for things. Some people don’t.”
Referring back to Jeremy, Kaleb couldn’t help but interject with another round of banter as he added: “I’m saying he doesn’t!”
Last night, Kaleb also revealed the problem that is stopping him from doing I’m A Celebrity … Get Me Out Of Here!.
On social media, he previously admitted that he might want to try a stint in the Australian jungle.
Backstage at the event, he explained that he could maybe see himself competing on the endurance show one day.
However, he doesn’t have the travel documents that are required to fly across the world.
“I’ve still got to get a passport. I haven’t got a passport yet. So, I’ve got to do that before I go on that,” he explained.
