MIRANDA Hart has revealed her secret split with her mystery man before his romantic proposal.
Earlier this week, the BBC favourite revealed she had secretly got married following a debilitating health battle.

Now she had shed light on their relationship history – and everything wasn’t completely smooth.
In her new book, she told that she “briefly” split with the building surveyor before he popped the question in Kew Gardens.
In her tome, I Haven’t Been Entirely Honest With You, Miranda wrote: “I admitted that I was longing for love within a romantic relationship too, for that one person who truly got me, but my hope for that was very, very slim.”
Yet the pair swiftly reunited, when Miranda realised: “I didn’t need to run away.”
The comedienne then gushed over their connection and added: “I had been vulnerable, yet I felt dignified.
“I had shown him the silliest me, the irritable me, the farting me, the no-make-up me, the teary me, the deep me.
“I trusted that he was there because he liked me.”
Miranda hasn’t revealed the full name of her man, but described him in her book as showcasing “salt-and-pepper greying hair look on a fine featured man.”
They first locked eyes when he visited her £2million home in his surveyor role, to look at a mould issue in 2020.
She also refers to him as The Boy or The Mould Man.
RING BLING
Miranda showed off her ring on The One Show earlier this week.
After recounting how they met, she wrote: “He’s not my boyfriend. He’s my husband.
“We got married when I was fifty-one.”
It comes 15 years after the launch of her BBC sitcom Miranda, which featured a long-running joke about her mum being desperate for her to get hitched.
She recalled: “We stood still on the bridge overlooking the lake when the silence was pierced as he rather seriously said, ‘Miranda.’
“I turned around, and as I did, he got down on one knee. ‘Miranda…’
“I don’t remember anything else because I simply burst out crying, apparently saying yes before he had finished the sentence (awkward if he’d been tying a shoelace…).
“I didn’t think a traditional proposal would affect me so.
“But there was someone knowing all my ridiculousness and brokenness and still willing to bend down, look up and commit to loving me and standing by me for the rest of his life.”
In a message to her Instagram fans following the live show, she said: “”Just on the way back from The One Show with little Patty [her dog] falling asleep on my lap and I just wanted to say thank you so much for all the lovely messages about the news.
“It’s really very touching that you should be very happy that I’m happy and I really, really am.
“I’ve got my best friend to do life with and it’s wonderful. And I’m also utterly thrilled to be back in Teleland and having a book out.
“Thanks so much for all your support.”
